Commonwealth War Graves Registers and Circumstances of Casualty states that Horace was Killed in Action, while taking part in the attack and capture of the Drocourt Queant Switch Lane between Vis en Artius and Dury he was killed by enemy shell fire.  His Next of Kin was Mrs. S Jones of R R No 1, Lowbanks, Ontario.  He was buried in Dury Mill British Cemetery, Dury, Nord Pas de Calais, France.  Plot: II. B. 27.
